Adjunct faculty Abbi Allan’s work is featured in a show at Gallery 801 through January.
Allan is also involved in the organization of “Books for Africa,” a collaborative exhibit between the Science Museum of Minnesota and MCAD, which opened December 10 from 5-7pm.
Allan participated in the Monster Drawing Rally on December 17.
Allan’s work will also be featured at the Phipps Gallery January 27 - March 4, including an artist’s reception on Friday, February 3 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. The show is called “The Evidence, Warriors, and Growth” and will feature Allan’s ceramic sculpture and mixed media drawings and paintings.
Allan was involved in the opening of “The Global Citizen Project” at the Science Museum of Minnesota, which took place on December 10 at the Argon Room. The event was put on by The Aesthetics of Sustainability, 1 Million Books (Hand in Health), Design Environment, and the Science Museum of Minnesota.
Lastly, Allan held an online studio clearance sale through her Facebook page and her blog from December 19 - 24.
