Keith Braafladt publishes echnology and Literacy: 21st Century Library Programming for Children and Teens

With co-author Jennifer Nelson, Keith Braafladt (BFA Sculpture '86) had a book published by the American Library Association. The book is titled Technology and Literacy: 21st Century Library Programming for Children and Teens. The publication is the result of Braafladt's work at the Science Museum of Minnesota on an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant to help establish new media programming for youth and adults. Braafladt's work in the Learning Technologies Center at the Science Musuem of Minnesota has enabled him to work with many wonderful staff (including several MCAD alumni) establising programs to bring together art, science and technology.
