It seems that faculty member Andy DuCett is everywhere these days!
As an artist in residence at the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation, DuCett just completed teaching a two-week drawing course to twenty high school students. The students were all winners of a competition that awarded them the full course tuition.
DuCett also recently finished his three-month residency at the Bell Museum of Natural History where he produced site–specific work for the museum.
And up next, DuCett has been invited by the Walker Art Center to be a part of Flux-Field as a Field Office Fellow. Another artist in residence opportunity, this experience will allow DuCett to work with the themes surrounding the Walker's Fluxus exhibition, an extension of their Open Field program.
