Caitlin Warner ’12 wants you to buy her art . . . from a vending machine.

Warner is the latest MCADian to be featured in the Star Tribune, having caught the newspaper's attention with her unique, "punk-esque" venture that was ideated around the time she graduated from MCAD.

That idea came to fruition when she was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, and now her vending machines, which sell her original works for $1 a piece, are placed in a number of galleries throughout the Twin Cities.

The project for Warner, however, is not about the profit. “I liked the idea of selling things inexpensively and not having to be present to do it,” she has said.
