Faculty member Jonathan Kaiser has a new exhibition of installation work opening next Friday as part of an emerging artist series.
Utilizing a long, narrow space, Kaiser will construct a series of wooden arch structures that give the impression of a corridor within a corridor. These arches will play with proportion and vanishing points, creating an illusion of distance. Throughout the gallery, a haphazard collection of small, improvised sculptures and found objects will be also be on display.
