Lori Solondz's Bed and Breakfast for Birds

Nestor, le jardin loupe

Lori Solondz ’75 has collaborated with Charles Goyard and Aurey Deslis to create Nestor, le jardin loupe to be exhibited in Lausanne, Switzerland this summer. "Loupe", or "burl" in English, refers to the knotty growths on tree trunks.

This garden for birds, inspired by burl, is intended to be a bed and breakfast for urban birds. Birdhouses as well as gardens planted with birds' favorite berries and seeding flowers will become a part of the path from Montbenon to the Flon.
