MCAD Representatives Chosen for MIA-ACTC Symposium
Each participating institution, including MCAD, will send one undergraduate and one graduate student to the symposium to present ongoing research related to a work of art or collection of works in the permanent collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
Graduate representative Sreekishen Nair will present her paper "Chakrasamvara: The Sacred Visual Semantics of a Buddhist Icon" and undergraduate representative Johana Brubeck will talk about "Projection as Simulacrum: Jennifer Steinkamp's Hurdy Gurdy Man."
