An exhibition celebrating communication, collaboration, and illustration and featuring the creative works of a number of MCAD students and alumni opens on campus tomorrow. With an aim of pushing the boundaries of communication into a playful and artistic realm, this show comprises the works of eight artists who have worked collaboratively to create eight individual but related pieces.
The show also includes a collaborative book project between current student Yinfan Huang and Sam Lorang ’13 visually exploring a conversation through stream of consciousness sketchbook style drawings and notes. There are also individual collaborative collages between both Yinfan and Sam with collage artist and MCAD MFA student Zach Collins.
Other artists involved in the exhibition include BFA student AnaLaura Juarez, MFA student Luisa Rivera, Jeremy Anderson ’12, and Ashley Buxbaum ’10.
