Rob Fischer ’93 currently has a solo exhibition at New York's Derek Eller Gallery.
Splitting his time between two studios—one in the woods of Northern Minnesota and another in Brooklyn, New York—Fischer is known for using dilapidated materials to methodically compose sculptural installations.
Repurposed wood flooring, panes of glass, and welded steel are used to create the featured piece in Good Weather. The large-scale house contains many of the furnishings of its real-world counterpart, yet its habitability remains ambiguous.
