Trash Found in the Mississippi Becomes Art

Andrew Vomhof ’10 has again been selected as the Minnesota DNR's 20th Anniversary "Adopt-a-River" program artist. He worked with 1,200 pounds of materials from a Mississippi River cleanup in June, including 800 pounds of tires, to build the sculpture that is on view at the Minnesota State Fair. This is a repeat of Vomhof's stellar performance last summer gracing the fair.
