Why did you choose MCAD?
I was living with my family in Shanghai and heard from a friend in the States that MCAD was a very good design school. I did a lot of research that ultimately confirmed why the school has such a good reputation.
What experience at MCAD helped you find the career you have today?
I discovered photography at MCAD. I came to the school to study design but was then introduced to photography as an art form. All of the professors are very inspirational and know how to make you focus and work. MCAD is where I started my career.
Is there a message, idea, or story that you would like to share with prospective MCAD students?
Explore. I came to study design, but I explored everything. It is important for an artist to explore every kind of form and then make a decision on what you are best at.
