A school-wide mentorship event geared towards current juniors and seniors and alumni.

The event includes:

• Speed Mentoring Sessions
• Alumni Happy Hour

What is Mix & Match

Speed Mentoring

If you have heard of speed dating you are on the right track. Instead of meeting a future soul mate, you will be meeting potential mentors/mentees. Alumni are a valuable resource for students who are on the path of developing their future careers.

Following a 30 minute overview, alumni will meet with students in their area of expertise/major. Each session will be 10 minutes long and will allow for alumni and students to meet one-on-one, ask questions, discuss professional strengths and challenges, review work or simply introduce each other and talk. At the end of the 10 minutes a bell will ring and the student will move on to another alumni and repeat the process.

Saturday, March 9, 2013
2:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.

2:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m.: Introduction & Orientation
2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.: Speed Mentoring
3:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m.: Guest Speakers
5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.: Alumni Happy Hour
