Visiting-Artist Lecture: Martin Mazorra

Artworks by Martin Mazorra range from small letterpress books and 18" x 24" posters to large woodcuts printed on canvas banners. Carefully hewn images of sideshow performers, pugilists, mystics, superhuman thugs, and day laborers comprise his visual lexicon, speaking to his roots in the South, his family, ordinary and not-so-ordinary humanity, and popular culture at large.

After MCAD, where do you turn to get ideas and creative feedback? Collab/Crit Night is an opportunity to showcase your work, solicit feedback, and seek collaboration from your MCAD peers. Informal and intimate, this event is free and open to all MCAD alumni, seniors, and grad students. Share your work, or just come for the discussion and beer.
