Jaime Hernandez: 30 years of Locas (... and Counting)

This solo exhibition features the work of renowned comic artist Jaime Hernandez who, with his brothers Gilbert and Mario, published the first issue of Love and Rockets in 1982. The black-and-white magazine ushered in a new alternative comics scene, featuring stories of high comedy and drama and spotlighting people who had rarely been seen in comics before.

PFC4—Experimental Comics Residency-Laboratory

These exhibitions are being held in conjunction with PRC4, the fourth iteration of the international Pierre Feuille Ciseaux (Rock Paper Scissors) comic art residency program, and the first time it will be held in the United States.

Visiting-Artist Lecture: Jaime Hernandez

Jaime Hernandez is best known for his serial narrative Hoppers 13. In addition to his comics, which have been translated into six different languages, he occasionally creates drawings for the New Yorker, as well as album and DVD covers.
