Access clubs, programs, and events.

Recess Club anyone? Or Mplz Bikers Brigade? Or how about the Thanksgiving Feast? MCAD has an on-campus club or event for you—so you can escape the normal part of your day, meet people, and maybe learn a few things, too. And since all clubs are student run, forming a new one is easy. Just ask your Resident Assistant.

Lead the way.

Start building your entrepreneurial skills even when you’re not in class. Take an active role in our various organizations. You might consider a role in Gallery 148—our student run gallery at MCAD. Or get involved as front-line student advocates: We offer opportunities as Orientation Crew Leaders, Resident Assistants, or on MCAD’s Student Union, where you can be the voice of your fellow college community.

Stay fit in mind and body.

Keep yourself in tip-top shape with exercise, relaxation and all-around good mental health. Creating balance in your busy academic life will serve you well, and we have the services to help:

Fitness Center
Work off some steam, or partake in a regular workout routine, right on campus. You’ll love the free use cardio equipment, weights—and flat-screen television—all within reach.

Yoga
Free classes are offered right on campus by trained yoga instructors.

Spa Day
During certain times of the semester, massage therapists, hair salons, and businesses offer their discounted services to students right on campus.

Counseling Psychologist
No problem is too big or small, and psychological services are free and confidential. If you’re feeling stressed, depressed and anxious, or experiencing challenges with relationships, family, chemical use, or academics, we encourage you to make an appointment with our on-campus psychologist. The psychologist may also refer students to other mental health professionals outside of MCAD when necessary.
