Off-Campus U.S. Study Programs
New York Studio Residency Program—Brooklyn, NY
This esteemed learning experience allows students to become immersed in the many cultural resources of New York City.
Each semester, a group of students from art schools around the United States, including one MCAD student, receive individual studio spaces and partake in weekly critique sessions as they work toward an end-of-semester group exhibition. The program also includes a diverse seminar/visiting-artist component and gives a comprehensive introduction to the New York art world.
New York Studio Residency students earn fifteen credits and a letter grade towards their undergraduate or graduate degree.
AICAD Mobility Program
As part of the mobility program, MCAD students can spend a semester at one of the art and design colleges affiliated with the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD). This program makes the faculty, course offerings, and resources of these schools available to MCAD students with ease of accessibility and without special cost.
