Creative Technology Leadership Seminar (Fall 2014)
All Art Educator Workshops
Artists, designers and educators are hugely influenced by technology's impact on our lives and on those of our students. As we move into a future, we need artists and educators to be leaders and visionaries in the application of creative technologies in practice and application. The online Creative Technology Leadership Seminar provides the opportunity for participants to develop and refine technology skills that interface with their professional practice and support their engagement as technology leaders and advocates in their communities.
Participants will consider, research and demonstrate examples of technology applications in the arts, and plan ways to use the newly acquired technological skills and understanding in their practice and communities.
Class experiences are designed to help recognize and foster technologically advanced advocates in the arts in a convenient, flexible, individualized online classroom environment. / Open to students ages 18 and above.
Required Hardware: A computer with internet access, smart phone or digital camera with video capability.
