Web Development: JavaScript and jQuery (Fall 2014)

All Online Adult Art and Design Classes

In this class, students will expand on HTML and CSS skills by bringing projects to life with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries.

These languages will be used as the vehicle to add interactive and rich experiences to websites. Topics include: fundamental programming concepts, best practices for interactive development, coding for interactive design, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and related technologies. / Open to students ages 18 and above.

Prerequisite Class: Web Development: HTML and CSS.

Required Textbook: Head First JavaScript, Morrison (ISBN: 978-0596527747).

Online Learning classes are not eligible for the early registration or multiple class discounts.
