Mold Making: Dream Themes

Art and Design Classes for Kids and Teens

Dream and discover in 3D with us! In this class, students will make small-scale sculptures out of cast objects from their memories and dreams, drawing attention to and inspiration from the subconscious.

Working with alginate and plaster, students will cast objects brought from home that are intriguing, meaningful, or just quirky, investigate positive and negative space in sculpture, and work together to make adventurous new artworks inspired by their innermost thoughts.

Throughout the week, each student will also keep a notebook that will be both their sketchbook and dream journal filled with ideas, visions, observations, and more! / Materials fee of $25 in addition to class tuition.

What to Wear: Clothes and shoes appropriate for messy creativity.

What to Bring: Notebook; pen or pencil.

Students must be eleven years, and not older than fourteen years of age, on the first day of class. View complete policies here.
