This workshop will focus on designing and binding books with images printed from linoleum blocks. There are so many ways to create books, some very simple styles involve just folding the paper. Some more complex designs require stitching and joining pages together with thread, screws or wire. This class will explore the processes of combining prints into books and portfolios. / Materials fee of $20 and facilities fee of $30 in addition to class tuition. / Open to students ages 16 and above.

What to Bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook; ruler, x-acto knife, bone folder, if you have your own set of linoleum cut tools, you can bring them. A complete list of suggested materials will be discussed during the first class meeting.

What to wear: Clothes that can get inky; an apron if desired; and closed-toed shoes. Long hair should be tied back.
