Introduction to Adobe Flash (Spring 2014)
Design and Digital Media
This class will introduce the basics of Flash, creating animations, importing media, adding buttons, and other basic features.
Adobe Flash has become a very popular tool for creating a wide range of online media. Optimized for high-definition graphics, Flash, along with a powerful programming language called ActionScript, can be used to add interactivity to websites.
Once the class has covered primary operations, students will move on to explore Flash's interface including using the timeline, stage, and design panels, as well as other features such as using layers, onion skinning, animating with guides and masks, importing sound, designing rollover buttons, and interactivity. / Each student will have access throughout the class to a lab workstation equipped with the latest software.
This class has been canceled due to low enrollment. We encourage students to register as soon as possible for future classes.
