Introduction to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (Fall 2014)

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom provides both professional and advanced amateur digital photographers with one of the best tools available to manage, adjust, present, and print large volumes of digital photographs. Through the use of demonstrations and hands-on tutorials, students in this class will learn the seven modules that make up the program to become proficient using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software.

By the end of class, they will understand the tools and strategies for creating a digital workflow for manipulating and managing their images. This class is geared toward the advanced photographer shooting in RAW format who is looking for a solution to maintain the thousands of images they wish to manipulate and catalog. / Facilities fee of $20 in addition to class tuition. / Open to students ages 16 and above.

Prerequisite: Working knowledge of Mac OS X.

What to Bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook, USB drive, blank CD, or cloud storage option for saving work; a few of your own digital image files, shot in RAW format, if you wish to work with those on the second day of class.
