Master Critique (Fall 2014)

The Master Critique class is a unique online opportunity to work with photographer and book artist Ricardo Bloch who lives and works in Paris.

For Ricardo, books can provide all makers an exploration of image, text, materials. He sees artist's books as a medium that allows for pushing boundaries and expanding the definition of what a book is whether it be graphic or conceptual, handmade or printed, narrative or stream-of-consciousness, Xeroxed or collaged, political or autobiographical, analog or digital works.

Theme-based projects will be determined by the instructor with media and materials selected by the student. / This class figures as part of the MCAD undergraduate curriculum. / Open to students ages 18 and above.

Required Software: Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign, or equivalent.

Required Hardware: Computer with internet access. Digital camera or scanner.

Online Learning classes are not eligible for the early registration or multiple class discounts.
