Do you love color and pattern and making stuff you can use? This week, we'll experiment with a wide variety of stamps–some we find and some we'll make. Then, we'll use our smorgasbord of stamps to create cool patterns on fabric using colored inks. From this fabric, we'll sew crazily creative banners for our rooms and another project: Perhaps a one of a kind bandana for you or your pet, a pillow cover, a belt or scarf or a project of your own design.

What might your favorite wild animal tell us if it could speak for itself? Through sculpting imaginative masks and costumes, we'll transform ourselves into the wild animals we love.

Who will you become? A polar bear? A dolphin? A tiger or a grey wolf? Our animals will have the chance to speak out through us, tell what they love about their lives and habitats, and what actions they need us humans to take to preserve them.

Leonardo Da Vinci is celebrated for his wildly inventive imagination. In addition to being one of the greatest painters of all time, Da Vinci was a scientist, musician, architect, engineer, and inventor. All the way back in the 1400s, he imagined and sketched a flying machine, a helicopter and solar power, in addition to his painting and fascination with nature and anatomy.
