Fine Arts

This class offers intermediate and advanced printmakers the chance to work in an open and collaborative learning community with instruction from a skilled printmaker -- using some of the best printmaking facilities in the Midwest. Selected demos are offered, along with individual tutorials as needed. Sessions will also include informal dialogues, large and small group critiques and studio time. The learning environment is collaborative and relaxed. Experienced students may work in screenprinting, intaglio, relief, letterpress and/or digital printmaking. Students may work in the printshop outside of class time during regular hours and when other classes are not in session. / Materials fee of $10 and facilities fee of $88 in addition to class tuition. / Open to students ages 18 and above.

Printshop Hours: 

  • Monday-Thursday9am-11pm
  • Friday-Sat, 9am-5p
  • Sunday12-11pm.

Prerequisite: Must have experience in at least one of the printmaking disciplines.

What to Bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook. A complete list of suggested materials will be discussed during the first class meeting.

What to Wear: Clothes appropriate for messy creativity.

Register Before: June 5

If the minimum enrollment is not met by the deadline above, the class will be canceled on this date. Registration will remain open after this date if the minimum enrollment has been met.

Class Savings

  • Register on or before May 19 and save $25.
