In the Jungle: PM Section (Summer 2013)

Summer Studio Kids Ages 5-8

We'll get inspired by the incredibly diverse and wondrous flora and fauna of the Amazon Rainforest this week and make our own small scale biomes!

Exploring the lush color and texture of the rainforest, each child will make colorful plants and animals using a variety of materials to contribute to our collaborative created environment. Take your exotic creations home to their new habitat at the end of the week. Families, please join us on Friday for a colorful art reception and jungle adventure.

For students to get the most from these classes, it's important for them to have experience using scissors, possess tactile skills, and to also have experience in a group setting. Students in this program must be at least five years of age, and have attended kindergarten, prior to the first day of their session.

Morning before-care (8:00-9:00 a.m.) and afternoon after-care (3:00-5:30 p.m.) arranged through the Children's Theatre Company is available to students enrolled in a Studio Kids class. To register, visit the CTC website and click on the "Extended Care Option" tab. Please register in advance of the start of your child's class.

Note: An MCAD Teaching Assistant will escort your child to and from the CTC in between classes and before/after care. Questions about payment, registration, and cancelation can be directed to the CTC.
