In a Single Bound: Comic Book Creation I

Summer Young Teens Classes Ages 11-14

Students in this class will learn about the expansive and diverse world of comic book stories and drawing styles, while learning the fundamental aspects of comic book creation and design.

They will create original characters and story-lines and be introduced to the techniques, materials, and disciplines used to create professional comic art. Students will also learn the following skills: Page layout; penciling; lettering; and inking. / Basic drawing skills are strongly recommended.

What to Bring: Drawing notebook; pens and pencils. / Students will spend approximately $50 on supplies (not included in tuition). / A complete list of suggested materials will be discussed during the first class meeting.
