Visual branding is a critical area of competence for any designer, and a useful area of knowledge for entrepreneurs, marketers, and other professionals. Students in this class will create a cohesive identity system ”for a real or fictional company” including a logo, brand assets, and mockups. Through sketching the realization of ideas using the Adobe Creative Cloud products, and structured critiques, the course will explore conceptual literacy, unifying factors in systems design, and the golden rules of logo design. / Open to students ages 16 and above.

Prerequisite: Working knowledge of Mac OS X. Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud helpful, but not required.

What to Bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook; USB drive, blank CD, or cloud storage option for saving work; High-resolution smartphone camera, DSLR, or other digital camera required. A complete list of suggested materials will be discussed during the first class meeting.

Register Before: May 31

If the minimum enrollment is not met by the deadline above, the class will be canceled on this date. Registration will remain open after this date if the minimum enrollment has been met.

Class Savings
