Designing Water in Your Landscape

Archived Event:

Water is the basis for all life but we can't always count on the right quantity at the right time for optimal plant growth in our permaculture systems. Effective management of water is frequently needed and must be designed into our projects.

This class will discuss systems that capture, store, and redistribute rain, surface water, snow melt, and ground water and cope with the ever-increasing extreme precipitation events.

For more information and to register, visit the course website.

This class is presented by the Permaculture Research Institute and sponsored by our master of arts in sustainable design program.
