Christopher Cunningham has enjoyed a long musical career as a guitarist, producer, composer, remixer, songwriter, and bon vivant, collaborating on stages and in studios with many local and international artists—including Marianne Faithfull, Joan Osborne, John Lurie’s Lounge Lizards, Gavin Friday, Boukman Eksperyans, Coloring Time, Kill the Vultures, Omar Farouk Tekbilek, Katell Keineg, the Contortions, the Golden Paliminos, Marshall Crenshaw, Richie Havens, John Zorn, and The Saqqara Dogs.

Cunningham currently composes for and leads the groups Mississippi Peace and Fall of the House of Usher. He is also very active as a composer and sound designer for cinema, with a specialty in surround-sound horror sound track work. He has held positions at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, McNally Smith College of Music, and the Institute of Production & Recording. He has mentored over 1,500 students of music, production, post production, composition, sound arts, and performance. He has been using Ableton Live to create music and sounds since version one came out in 2001.
