Elisabeth Workman, aka Elisabeth Brandt, aka Professorbeth, is a poet and writer with a background in dance.

She has a new book out this fall with Dusie Press called ENDLESSNESS IS NO DESOLATION. Other works include ULTRAMEGAPRAIRIELAND, OPOLIS, ANY RIP A THRESHOLD, and IN THE EVENT OF NOT HAVING AN ANSWER, among others.

Workman Brandt is the recipient of a 2009 Jerome/SASE Emerging Writer Fellowship, a 2010/11 McKnight Artist Fellowship in Poetry, a 2012 Marcella DeBourg Fellowship from the University of Minnesota, and honors/awards from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the Minnesota State Arts Board.

She's from the East Coast but has lived elsewhere, including the Dakotas, the Netherlands, the Middle East, and now the Twin Cities.
