Eric Timothy Carlson is a visual artist and designer producing a diverse range of objects and images. He enjoys drawing, collaboration, and prodding at semiotics. He received his BFA in Graphic Design from MCAD in 2006 and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
His work has been exhibited by Museum of Arts of Design, New York; Brooklyn Arts Council; Minneapolis Institute of Art; Walker Arts Center, Minneapolis; and Van Abbe Museum, NL.
Coinciding with a multitude of self-publishing projects, he work has been published by New Museum / Phaidon Press, Journal of Artist's Books, Good Magazine, IdN magazine, Museums Press, and Location Books.
Through design he maintains a practice focused on working with artists, musicians, and cultural institutions, which has lead to projects with Performance Space 122, The New York Times, Bloomberg View, Christie's, Facebook, Urban Outfitters, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and the US Department of State.
