Johnson is currently a professor of Digital Film and Television at the University of Wisconsin—River Falls. He is a documentary filmmaker, whose work has appeared on PBS and has worked in the television and video industry for over fifteen years, including as owner of a video production business, as a producer of a television series, and as a segment producer for a variety magazine series. (MFA/Minneapolis College of Art and Design)
