Graeme Stout's teaching and research focus on the nature, deployment, and transformation of power in the modern age and the relationship of aesthetic form to social consciousness. His current book project, based on his dissertation, studies the cultural legacy of terrorism in Italy and Germany from the late 1960s to the current day. He has articles both in print and forthcoming from Seminar, Mosaic, and Public.
