Faculty Title Instructor Education BS, Miami University MAEd, Hamline University Current Career Art and Design Teacher at Minnetonka High School Jonathan Maki teaches art & design at Minnetonka High School. He teaches classes such as Darkroom Photography, Painting, Comics, Ceramics, Graphic Design, and Design & Marketing at VANTAGE. VANTAGE is a unique program within Minnetonka High School where students work with a project team to solve real-world problems with real world companies. Prior to teaching at the high school level, he taught K-5 art for 17 years. In the years of teaching, he has played roles as a department chairperson, art events coordinator, seminar leader for teachers and administrators on fostering creative thinking, and even product development. Maki has been teaching at MCAD’s Summer Kids Studio program since 2013.
