Kindra Murphy is a graphic designer who enjoys designing college catalogs, gallery publications, and educational materials geared towards young audiences. Her client list includes nonprofit and arts organizations such as Allen Memorial Art Museum at Oberlin College, Midway Contemporary Art, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, New York Times Magazine, Studio on Fire, and the Walker Art Center. She has received recognition from the American Center for Design, AIGA, I.D., Print, and the American Association of Museums.
Prior to teaching at MCAD, Murphy held positions at Urban Outfitters, the Walker Art Center, and Maine College of Art. She has a collection of Tumblrs, is a starter of self-initiated projects, and is an avid collector of design ephemera.
