Kindra Murphy is a graphic designer who enjoys designing college catalogs and educational materials geared towards young audiences, and working with archives and collections. Her client list includes nonprofit and arts organizations such as Midway Contemporary Art, MCAD, New York Times Magazine, Studio on Fire, and the Walker Art Center. She has received recognition from the American Center for Design, AIGA, I.D., Print, and the American Association of Museums.
Before teaching at MCAD, Murphy worked at Urban Outfitters, the Walker Art Center, and Maine College of Art. She has received recognition from the American Center for Design, AIGA, ID Magazine, Print Magazine, UnderConsiderations FPO Awards, and the American Association of Museums. She has a collection of tumblrs, authors self-initiated projects, and is an avid collector of design ephemera.
