Krista Leraas has dedicated her work to the emerging field of sustainability for over a decade, with experience ranging from organic farming to nonprofit programming. In 2001, Krista co-founded the Living Green Expo, an annual sustainable resource event held in St. Paul. She holds a graduate degree in Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Community and is a Certified Permaculture Designer. Currently, she is the coordinator and co-founder of a new backyard farming and permaculture program called Backyard Harvest.
