Laura Joseph is a curator, writer, art historian, and arts organizer with a track record of examining under-researched topics in contemporary art, contributing innovative scholarship to the field, advancing interdisciplinary curatorial methods, and producing engaging public programs.

Her work has appeared in publications by Northwestern University Press, the Katherine E. Nash Gallery, University of Minnesota, in association with University of California Press, the Plains Art Museum (Fargo), and Driscoll Babcock Galleries (New York), among others.

She has lectured and participated in panels nationally and internationally, including at Northwestern University (Evanston), University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK), St. Catherine's University (St. Paul), York University (Toronto), the Art Institute of Chicago, and the University of Minnesota.
