Linda Frichtel began her career as an artist in Minneapolis. She discovered the field of illustration and launched a career as a professional illustrator in 1992.

Her work has been commissioned for a diverse clientele resulting in a body of work that represents categories of illustration such as corporate marketing, annual reports, book covers, packaging, surface design, posters, murals, and print media.
