Margaret McGee
,
McGee is a figurative sculptor who works in wood and mixed media. She was awarded a 2009 Minnesota State Arts Board Grant and was a recipient of a 2002-2003 McKnight Foundation Fellowship for Visual Artists. She earned a BA in Philosophy and a BFA in Sculpture from Missouri State University in 1996, and she completed her MFA in Visual Studies at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1999. In addition to exhibiting in the Twin Cities, she the Learning Center Director at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and teaches in both the liberal arts department and continuing studies.
