Harris has been a freelance illustrator for over twenty years, and has a long list of regional and national clients. He makes his living as a visual “jack of all trades,” illustrating all kinds of pictures from the Trix Rabbit to aortic catheters, from Ronald McDonald to all-terrain fire trucks. Marty’s passion for keeping sketchbooks inspired him to found a collaboration named moly_x: an international moleskine sketchbook exchange, engaging hundreds of artists around the planet in exchanges and exhibitions. Adventures in the analog world of ink, paint, paper and books led him to printmaking. He began working at Highpoint Center for Printmaking, favoring intaglio and screenprinting. Now, he does his printmaking at MCAD.
