Patty Healy McMeans

Patty Healy McMeans is an independent curator, artist, and writer living and working in Minneapolis. She received her BFA in film from MCAD back when everyone in town was working for Prince. She studied sculpture and film theory at Ohio State University and the University of Edinburgh, and she completed her first year of graduate work at Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2006, she finished her MFA in sculpture and combined media, studying under Tom Rose and John Archer at the University of Minnesota. Her work has been shown regionally, as well as in Istanbul, Shanghai, New York, and Washington, DC.
