Faculty

Phil Anderson has been teaching at MCAD since 1979. Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member in 1999, he was a freelance writer for more than twenty years, doing film and media writing for City Pages, USA Today Weekend, the Boston Globe, American Film, Art Examiner, Afterimage, Photo District News, Utne magazine, and others. He was a Fulbright Lecture/Research Fellow at the University of Oslo and a National Endowment for the Arts curatorial intern at the Walker Art Center. He has also received the Award of Excellence from Parenting Publications of America.
