Prasad Boradkar teaches the core innovation class in MCAD's MA program, while also maintaining his posts as the program director of industrial design and an associate professor at the design school at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona.

Boradkar is also the director of InnovationSpace, a transdisciplinary undergraduate laboratory at ASU where students and faculty partner with researchers and businesses to explore human-centered product design concepts that improve society and the environment.

Boradkar recently published Designing Things: A Critical Introduction to the Culture of Objects with Berg Press of the U.K. and is working on his next book about the role of design in promoting sustainable economic development in India.
