Willie is the 15-year proprietor of Willie Willette Works, a custom furniture design/build studio that currently employs a full-time staff of six. An alumnus of the Walker Art Center exhibition crew, Willie has also served on the boards of the Minneapolis Arts Commission, Soo Visual Arts Center, the Minnesota State Arts Board, and the University of Minnesota's student-run radio station, Radio K.
