Pre-College Summer Session featured comic student Panteha Abareshi is in a Paper magazine article about her solo exhibition in New York. She also talks about how the inspiration for her illustrations comes from her illness and how she incorporates mysticism in her work. Featured in the exhibition will be a short film about Abareshi's art making titled The Girl who Loves Roses.

Abareshi tells Paper magazine about her creative process by saying, “I can't say this without trivializing it, but the moment I'm feeling something -- pain, sadness, inspiration -- I'll jot it down in my notebook. . . there's intention behind everything I draw, even if it's just a nosebleed.”
