MCAD alum Rama Hoffpauir is featured in a Star Tribune article about how she became an accidental cheesemaker. Her farm, once dedicated mostly to cultivating vegetables, has now expanded to the full-blown cheesemaking business Cosmic Wheel Creamery.

Hoffpauir tells Star Tribune that studying sculpture at MCAD helped her with starting her business: "I was really interested in making temporary works, things that were interactive and sensory-based. So this is the most perfect thing I could have done with that. I’m working with my hands, and creating something that you get to enjoy, and that lasts as a memory.”
