Late Australian artist Robert Klippel, who taught sculpture classes at the Minneapolis School of Art (now MCAD) from 1958 to 1962, has been highlighted in a Halls Creek Herald article discussing the importance of his work in the Surrealist, Constructivist, and Modernist movements and how it was showcased alongside artists such as Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Fernand Leger, and Rene Magritte.

Today, Klippel's son Andrew Klippel continues to share his father's work in galleries such as the Galerie Gmurzynska in Switzerland, the Olsen Gallery at Sydney Contemporary, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
