MCAD DesignWorks, the college's in-house design studio that employs student designers, is featured in an ElectionLine article about the polling place signage they redesigned last fall for the City of Minneapolis. The story delves into the process of updating the signs and how Minnesota will utilize the new designs in the future. The signage is now free for anyone to download.

MCAD President Jay Coogan commented on the design process, saying, “Good civic design should be accessible to everyone. We hope that members of the design-for-good community are inspired to build upon the work MCAD has done to help create a better voting experience for citizens nationwide.”
