Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts presents Blurred Boundaries, featuring works by Jeannine Spooner Kitzhaber and Lyz Wendland ’09, MFA. This exhibition explores the mapping of urban and suburban, architecture and nature, and memories and physical places which result in colorful abstractions.

Wendland's work is influenced by natural and suburban landscapes. She takes inspiration from the idea of comfort within suburban environments and the relationship between architecture and nature. Her works employ drawing, painting, paper sculptures, and mixed media installations.
